The whole third grade singing at there program. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa Armstrong and Grandma and Grandpa Dootie for coming from out of town to see her perform. She was very glad you all came to see her sing. They performed it twice that day once at 2:30 and again at 7:00. Then Mrs. Young treated them to Christmas caroling and took them to see" The Prince and the Frog."
Laramie has had trouble in reading and math since the first grade. I have been asking all a long for the school district to test her for dyslexia. They didn't think she needed to be tested because she always improved over the year, and never fell back. Well this year I started off fighting for her again and after failing math and her self esteem was in the gutter. We had her in every help class she could be in I finally convinced them to follow through with the testing. Guess What? She has Dyslexia. Now they have pulled out all the special classes she was in and have put her in dyslexic classes. When I found out I was so happy and so mad at the same time because I think a lot of this could have been prevented. She has two wonderful teacher this year and she actually looks forward to going to school now. She told her psycolgist that she liked reading and math now. Which she has never said before. I asked her later why she said that "If it was because she understood it" or "If it because her teacher are helping her better". She said her teacher help her understand and take the time to make sure she gets it. Thia is something we have never had before. Yes, I feel she has always had OK teacher with one exception, but she really loves these two ladies and we have seen a lot of improvement.
We put up our christmas tree last week. The kids had fun putting all the oranments on the tree. Landon was really excited about putting the christmas tree. Landry wasn't sure what was happening but loves the lights. Laramie everything about christmas.
Landry watching all the action at the christmas tree. Laramie enjoying putting all the oranments on the tree.
I'm a little late updating this. Landry is now seven months old and it's hard to believe. He started to sit up at 6 1/2 months. No teeth yet but I think they are on their way. He has been realyy drooling . He is a very laid back baby. He only cries if he is hungry or is tired.
On Sunday We went to the Poinsetta Festival here in Brenham. This is a festival we try to go to every year and see Santa Claus and the pretty poinsettias. They are always beatuiful. We take a family picture here every year.

Last week we had a Thanksgiving Feast at our school and the children got to sing a song with their classes. Landon was eager to get up there and sing. But all he said once he got up there is "Sing Louder".

Yesterday we went to College Station to celebrate Grandma Dootie's 62nd birthday. We enjoyed dinner with the family at The Olive Garden. Then we went back to her house to have cake and let her open gifts. We have a very nice time. All the grandchildren were there so we got a picture with Grandma.

Jeramie and I decided to make Landon's costume because we were unable to find a Tin Man costume this year. I think it turned out pretty good if I say so myself. We had lots of people say how cute he was.
